News: Kansas Reunites For New Documentary Miracles Out Of Nowhere

Kansas Original Lineup reuntied after 32 years to record new documentary.

Original band members Phil Ehart (drums), Dave Hope (bass), Kerry Livgren (guitars & keyboards), Robby Steinhardt (vocals & violin), Steve Walsh (vocals & keyboards) and Richard Williams (guitars) reunited after 32 years to chronicle their miraculous climb from playing biker bars in the Midwest, to eventually breaking arena and stadium attendance records set by Elvis Presley and others around the world!

Miracles Out Of Nowhere (2015) is being release by Epic/Legacy and tells the band's history from the very beginning in 1973 onwards in the words of their very own members detailing Kansas’s one-in-a-million chance of being discovered by producer Wally Gold and signed by music mogul Don Kirshner. The band members recount memories such as: touring with Queen, an infamous fight with Steven Tyler, and recording some of the biggest albums and songs of their era that eventually led to them becoming one the biggest bands of their time.

Including stories from Brian May (Queen), Garth Brooks, Brendan O’Brien (Producer – Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen), and more, Miracles Out of Nowhere is a must have for the most rabid “Wheathead” to the casual music fan.

The documentary will be released in a series of packages.The special editions are:
- BluRay + Bonus DVD + Companion CD
- DVD + Bonus DVD + Companion CD

The regular editions have no extra DVD. The extra DVD has more than 30 minutes of bonus features and outtakes not included in the documentary and not available in stores.

The Miracles Out Of Nowhere companion CD includes some of the band’s signature tracks with audio introductions from the film itself.  Tracks include: 'The Pilgrimage', 'Can I Tell You', 'Journey From Mariabronn', 'Song For America', 'Down The Road', 'Icarus – Borne On Wings Of Steel', 'The Pinnacle', 'The Wall', 'Carry On Wayward Son', 'Point Of Know Return', 'Dust In the Wind' and 'Nobody’s Home'.

The DVD will be released on March 24th but pre-orders are available right now through Amazon (the normal edition) or on Kansas online shop HERE (the special edition).
